Hello Ladies, Welcome to our Feb issue of our very special LOTH e-zine, "Heart Song". Are you enjoying what you are reading here? Aren't these gals great at what they put together for our reading pleasure?? I couldn't be more pleased with our e-zine, and I look forward to each new issue with great anticipation! And this month is certainly fulfilling all my visions and expectations....again! February is the month of Love, red and pink hearts, sappy love poems, and lots of chocolates and flowers! February is the month that gives every romantic of heart total license to just "pour it on", and have fun with creating a romantic aura around that "special someone". Sweethearts coo at each other, mothers fawn over their little one's gifts, and children work hard to make that perfect card or gift to show how much they love their mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles! Love is in the air, and spilling all over everyone!!! And Love is alive and well in LOTH big time, too! Allow me to reflect a moment on the miracle of this love that we share as sisters of this group we call LOTH, aka Ladies of the Heart. Whenever we read of a "sister in need", someone comes forward to offer a kind word, a prayer, support. Whenever we read a request for assistance, someone, somewhere around the world, is there to help with the question or need. I have this idea that there is at least one someone out there to help in any situation that arises in LOTH!!! We do respond to the needs of our sisters, and this is truly a miracle in the works. In this society, it actually is unusual that a "stranger" would bare their heart to even more "strangers", and receive back from those "strangers" a helping word, love and caring about the individual's need. I have observed, in the past almost 4 years of LOTH's existence, that there are not many "strangers" in this group. Oh, it might take a lil bit of time to get "warmed up" to us "old-timers" of LOTH, but once a new sister takes that plunge of saying "hi", it's really not so lonely. It is, of course, as in all things in life, a "what you put into it, you'll get back" type of group. So, if LOTH needs more love in it, GIVE more Love, and if you are feeling left out, SPEAK UP and let us know you are here, and ready to be a sister! If you are feeling lonely in LOTH, communicate...come out of hiding, and let us know you are here! We've all been gone through the "I'm new here" stage of being in a big group, and our pride in this Sisterhood won't let us have lonely sisters, if we know about it! The power of love, prayer and positive energy is strong in LOTH, and that is because LOTH is made up of loving, caring and powerful women! To have this place to stand tall, be creative in our own ways, and still reach out to lift up another in need is surely a very big miracle all by itself! And, I for one, count my blessings each and every day for every sister I have in LOTH! Thank you for being a part of my life, for you enrich it beyond description, Sister! And I truly will try to give you the same love and support you so freely give to me! Happy Valentine's Day, sisters! I truly wish you all the love, joy......and chocolates (if you like!) that your heart can stand! (smile) love and many blessings,

Do you want something mushy, or something funny? What a decision. What to do? What to pick? Well, when you see that special card for someone you love...do not forget yourself! You do not have to buy it or send to yourself. You should just look for one that you would like to receive...and then to know the best valentine every day is "Self-Love."
