Happy New Year, Sisters! Wow! It's 2001 already!! Can you believe it?!?!??! Remember this time last year all the hype that was going on about moving into the New Millennium? It hardly seems like a whole year has passed, now does it? This is our third issue of our newest addition to LOTH....our very own e-zine, LOTH Heart Song! I have received so many wonderful letters from so many of you telling me how much you like this new feature, and I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to all of you for your words of support and encouragement. Our "Heart Song" staff, under Connie's (Editor) wonderful direction, have a wonderful time putting all the different categories together, for your reading pleasure. And don't they do a fabulous job? I am so very proud of their dedication to creating a very informative and entertaining e-zine for all of LOTH to enjoy!!!! Thank you's to Connie, and all the staff of "Heart Song"!!! As we move into the year 2001, I am sure we will most likely take time to reflect on where we have been, and where we would like to go in accomplishing our personal goals and dreams in this new year! I know that I will be "taking a tally" of what I had wanted to get done during 2000, and revamping those goals to fit into a new game plan for 2001. I am not much for making New Year's Resolution lists, but I do make up a "Goals to work on" type of list. Then I can map out how I want to get those goals accomplished, and figure out just what it will take to "make it so"! Maybe some of you would like to join me in this 'venture'? It is something we could share in the Tidbits, or on the message board, but I know that if we share our goals with each other, the strength in support that is here in LOTH just might make it easier to get those goals met. I have seen, many times over, the miracles of LOTH Love in so many areas, so I know that working with each other on our personal goals could certainly empower us all so very much. Let's try it, and see what we CAN do in 2001....yes!!?!?!?!
I would like to wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year,
Sisters...and may the joy and blessings of abundance of all good things be yours always!
It is now the year 2001! A shocker isn't it? I feel this past year has flown by! MY, MY, MY, where does time go when you are having a good time? I remember how the news media had the country so scared about the Y2K. I laughed when people acted like Henny Penny when the word came up - or I should say the two letters and a number? The fear was so ridiculous!
I just kept quiet after a while. It was scary that so many people believed
it. The news had a good hay day with it, and so Then we had the Elian case. I am sure no one has forgotten that. I sat with America, spellbound and glued to the TV until, once again, I had had it. I mean, let's see how the politicians who jumped on the bandwagon taking sides on this child would feel if his or her child was taken and held hostage. Let's get real here - another farce. I have a lot of beefs about the media. This is not the place though, I need a soap box to stand on it in New York to feel satisfied. Those were the days!!! We went through a lot of family members who passed away and people we loved who became family to us, whether they be writers and/or actors, or people we admired. The most unbelievable happening in the year 2000 was the political upheaval. My goodness, we are living history! The children being born will read what we are experiencing in the political arena right now. I still feel that the man who wins will be a lame duck president and everyone will always wonder what really happened. Now we have this year to see what is going to happen! Oh, the excitement!!!!
Hope all our readers have a Happy New Year's with lots of inner
Love and Warmth,
